architecture renderings & illustrations technical illustrations
Similar to renderings, Technical Illustrations are another good way for an architect to help clients visualize design concepts and spatial relationships.
These architectural illustrations have been primarily done with ink on mylar but may incorporate the use of color in the form of paint, pencils, or markers.
Like renderings, Technical Illustrations can be quick sketches or more formal perspectives that show a technical aspect of the project.
A formal, finish illustration, usually starts with rough sketches on "onion skin" working quickly and using overlays to make needed adjustments along the way.
Once the desired layout is achieved, it can be copied into a more formal final presentation.
